Amy and Alan are really hip people. She’s a graphic designer and he writes movie reviews for Brightest Young Things, a DC hipster blog. I teased them relentlessly about the hipster things. It didn’t seem to bother them too much.
I was asked this recently by two couples who I met with a few days apart. I didn’t have great answers for either of them. I think I probably said “the photos,” because it was the first thing that came to mind! “Getting the shot” is a great feeling – something easy to get addicted to. But it’s far too vague.
Well they changed the dates on us about a million times and when the cherry blossoms finally came, they were pretty seriously great – and you have just today left to see them, according to predictions. (My money is that after the rains on Saturday, you’re going to see much more sporadic blooms.) So when Kristin wrote me to bump up her sometime-this-Spring session to this past weekend, I thought it was pretty seriously good timing, considering the cherry blossoms were only going to be around for one weekend! We took those cherry blossoms for a spin.
