I’m constantly telling people to choose a “meaningful” location for their engagement session. See, here’s the thing. Wouldn’t it be nice to look back on these casual photos with you and your honey and have memories associated with the photos? That’s why I’m always thrilled when my couples choose a place near and dear to their hearts. Ann and Chris chose Cleveland Park for their engagement session because it’s where they spent a lot of time while they were falling in love. Even though most of these images are not iconic from the neighborhood, I do hope and believe they’ll remember why they chose the location and think back on the beginning of their story.

These two humored me big-time. I love when I tell a couple to go sit in front of the mailboxes and they’re like “well, okay!”

Very nice. Mailboxes!?!? Haha. Nice to see Cleveland Park– I grew up in DC and have missed it since not returning for 6 years (6 years!?!?!). I need to go back soon.
