A couple extra photos from Galveston I found while processing some other stuff. Here you’ve got three tiny succulents decorating the Four Points Sheraton we stayed at. Below, sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico. Look closely at the horizon line and you’ll see a big tanker and an oil platform.
On Sunday, I drove up to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor for a fun little get-together with some great local photogs from the group Starting a Wedding Photography Business. Just a few images from my train ride from NYC to DC. A little bit of experimentation with editing – happy coincidence, really. I had to up the heck out of the blacks (pardon the technical talk) for the under-the-bridge shot and then wanted to see what those settings would have on the rest of the images. Not bad, I thought. And yes, these were shot from a very quickly moving train.
