I keep restarting this paragraph. There are many things I feel about the Supreme Court’s decision yesterday. We’ve come so far and still have so very far to go. But today we get to celebrate – thrill at the rainbows appearing everywhere, including the White House. It was about damn time and the win is hard-earned and well-deserved, for LGBTQ Americans and straight Americans: we watched our country turn an important leaf yesterday.
Jenny and Edmund were married on a hot, bright summer day at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, Virginia. After some careful engineering of gazebo decorations, the site was ready for these two to tie that knot. We wrapped portraits juuuuust as the rain started to come down.
Kelly and Mike are blowing this joint soon, headed to the great state of Texas. But they love it here (because who wouldn’t?) so they wanted to capture a bit of the flavor of the town. Plus, fur babies. So we hit up a tiny local park you’ve never heard of and also one of the most visited sites in the entire country.
