Erma and Jermaine had a very beautiful, emotional ceremony at Faith Temple Ministries in Manassas, Virginia on Saturday. They both come from huge families, so they had a whopping twenty-nine people in their wedding party!

A powerful thunderstorm moved through Arlington and Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC yesterday afternoon. From DC it didn’t look all that terribly strong – not any worse than the 3 or 4 other storms we’ve had in the last few weeks – but it did some major damage to trees in the area.
With little to do at work yesterday, I was sent home early and decided to take a little photowalk. It was hotter than I anticipated and it was really quite a miserable walk. On the whole, though, I came away with a few images I thought worthwhile. First, I stumbled upon some lovely foliage:
