Amanda and Ben are all kinds of globe-trotting awesomeness. But they bought it on back to DC for an intimate wedding at Co Co. Sala (where the eff does that period go??), which proved to be an incredible venue for weddings, right there on F Street. They tied the knot in a beautiful little narrow courtyard next to an old church and then ate up all the chocolately goodness on tap. And were ridiculously sweet.

Meghan and Steve did it big – big tent, big band, big hearts. It was such a pleasure to document their wedding filled with so much joy and laughter. A wedding photographer learns a lot about her clients by the speeches given at the wedding and I learned that Meghan and Steve have been all over this planet. I’m glad they chose to rock out their wedding Baltimore-style, rolling in friends and family from everywhere. It was a rockin’ party.

It’s summer (or at least it’s almost summer) and that means weddings, weddings, weddings. I have no fewer than six weddings over the next two weeks – most of them are intimate weddings, but nevertheless, I’m occupied. But in the winter, that’s not the case. Between December and mid-March, not too much is going on around the DC region, and that means I take jobs I would ordinarily not touch. If for no reason other than to occupy myself for the day.
