Latest round of work travel takes me to Galveston, Texas.  I’d never been before and I’m finding it a very nice place!  Lots of huge historic mansions and a really beautiful downtown area.  It reminds me quite a bit of New Orleans, particularly in the architecture.

I married into the cutest twins on earth.  George’s cousins dressed up as a monkey and a pig for Halloween and though they were cranky as all get-out due to *two* birthday parties on Sunday, they still managed to pull off the animal-lookalike bit very well.  I think next year they’ll be waaaay into the candy-delivery system that is Halloween.

I’m fascinated by reflections.  There is so much a photographer can do with mirrors, glass and angles.  So you can imagine my delight when I came across one of those triangle forever mirror things at the University of Maryland while I waited for George’s class to get out.  I ducked up inside and had lots of fun taking self-portraits.  The mirrors were plenty dirty and it was very dark in the hall, but I still had some fun.  Here’s me and me and me.
