I thrive on variety and exploration, so it’s always a great joy to me when clients take me somewhere new and, most importantly, varied for their engagement sessions. Kaitlin and Andrew walked me through their neighborhood and we explored some murals and parking garages and a park they walk through all the time. It’s great to be able to incorporate meaningful or familiar places into engagement sessions – so pictures are not just from a park, but from our park. Julia and Alex are my buddies who are going to tie that knot in October this year. Way back on when, they helped me out by modeling for me and now they’re full-on engaged! We hit up Old Town, their old stomping grounds, on what was a pretty miserable, drizzly day. No worries. Alex is goofy enough to make Julia laugh and Old Town has plenty of cute little spots to bring tons of cheer to their engagement photos.
Liz and Ashwin grabbed up the last of the magnolias, along with about 5 billion tourists. So after a handful of obligatory flowering tree photos, I took them somewhere a bit more interesting – my old stomping grounds of L’Enfant Plaza. Always fun when my peeps are up for anything. And double fun when they are all giggles like these two. So looking forward to their wedding in a couple weeks!
