University of Maryland

I seem to find myself on a lot of college campuses lately.  Today's adventures took us to the University of Maryland.  My brilliant husband is on his way to a Ph.D. candidacy there and is currently taking a couple of classes.  Because I was free as a lark, I accompanied him north and spent a couple hours reading Infinite Jest (which I am finding hideously tedious, but somehow compelling enough to continue) and taking a bit of a photo stroll through the very pretty campus.   1. Not to be pedantic, but it may be a bit premature to say I’m “on my way to candidacy”. I haven’t even been accepted into the program!
