I’m a tad short on new photos today.  After second shooting a wedding on Saturday (don’t worry, they’ll be up soon!), my neck and shoulder pretty much put the smack-down on me and killed any chance of in-depth photoing this weekend, UMD images aside.  (In other news, Google/WordPress has no problem with the word photoing, despite the fact that I’m pretty sure it’s not a real word.)

I seem to find myself on a lot of college campuses lately.  Today’s adventures took us to the University of Maryland.  My brilliant husband is on his way to a Ph.D. candidacy there and is currently taking a couple of classes.  Because I was free as a lark, I accompanied him north and spent a couple hours reading Infinite Jest (which I am finding hideously tedious, but somehow compelling enough to continue) and taking a bit of a photo stroll through the very pretty campus.

I work in a great location.  On my lunch break, I can go to several different world-class museums, or head on up to Gallery Place for some street action.  I have been calling these lunchtime photo walks “walking around” pictures.  Mostly because it’s a combination of trying to get in some exercise and also some images.  Here are a couple from yesterday.
