I had a really good time with Aimee and Richard yesterday at Dumbarton Oaks for their engagement session. I had no idea it was such a popular spot for photography – I ran into three other photographers there (one of whom I’m second shooting for this weekend – hi Tara!). And I’m all impatient and things so here is a little sneak peek from our session. More to come!
Stephanie and Colin are the bomb. We came to Green Spring Gardens in Alexandria because the National Cherry Blossom people had promised (on their website) that it was a great alternative to visiting the Tidal Basin for cherry blossom viewing. I felt like such a dope when we showed up because they had maybe three cherry blossom trees in the parking lot and another tree that we possibly identified as cherry blossom but weren’t sure.
People that run marathons are awesome. As a complete non-runner myself, I am always amazed that anyone can make it over a mile without giving up and getting an ice cream. Well, the day after our boudoir shoot, E went and ran the Cherry Blossom Ten Miler. Now she’s training to do a full marathon (I think), so you can imagine that she’s fixing to get even hotter. It’s too bad for all the other men in the world that she’s already taken.
