Emily & Matt | Bluemont Vineyard Wedding

Emily and Matt together make up one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They’re cheerful and funny and delightful and I was really happy to celebrate with them and document their wedding day. They got married at the gorgeous Bluemont Vineyard, in a very pleasant break from all this cold Spring we’ve been having. It rocked.

They got ready at the very fancy George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia. And then for kicks we walked around the block and played with some run-down-looking warehouse stuff and brick and things. I roll like that.

Big shout-out to Porter for coming to help me with this wedding.

Then we scooted onto Bluemont to take in the views and get these two hitched and stuff.

I don’t know I’ve ever seen two people have more fun at their ceremony.

I just had to grab them for a handful more portraits in the awesome late afternoon light.

Toasts.

Bluemont does a whole bunch of weddings, so I was happy to finally see it in person. I love that they outfit the poles and ceiling beams with sparkly lights to create some great atmosphere. I’m pretty sure the paper lanterns are theirs too. It has a beautiful old barn feel without any of the inconveniences of actually being in a barn.

What a wonderful day! Love the shoes…his and hers! Matt’s hair goes so well with the bricks and the large hotel painting…Andrea, you look so happy and fabulous. This is giving me inspiration to get working on the details of our Mother’s Day wedding in Yosemite! Love is in the air!

It’s hard to believe they are all “grown up” and married and stuff… 🙂
Their love and everyone’s joy for them really shines through in the photos.
