Shannon and Tim are married, but they're so awesome, they want cool photos of themselves just because (and, you know, plus headshots). We hit up the National Mall before hardly any of these flowering trees started doing their thing. Couple of who-knows purple things and some juuuuust barely getting there Magnolias and mission accomplished. Though, honestly, some dead-looking dangly trees are more up my aesthetic alley.
But of course, my favorite images, always, depend on light. This scene isn't from a garden or a cool place of any sort. They're standing on a grate with a loading dock behind them. But this happened to be the spot in front of a big beige building, throwing tons of beautiful light back at them.
