Meredith and Bill did something almost no one does, but that makes tons of sense and works beautifully – they had a two-parter wedding. The ceremony took place at Bill’s family home in Bethesda, with some very personal toasts and champagne and hors d’oeuvres following. Then the whole party picked up and moved to American Ice Co. off U Street, where the rest of their friends and family were waiting. The two-parter lets the personal be very, very personal but the party be nonetheless bitchin’. Meredith and Bill:
Liz and Zach were married at the beautiful, atmospheric and convenient Woodlands at Algonkian in Sterling, Va. amid bright colors, a huge group of supportive friends and a sea of glowsticks. The entire day oscillated between drizzle and steady rain, but Zach pushed on, determined to be married outdoors under the ridiculously well-decorated pergola. Ten minutes to go, he called it for outdoors, despite storm clouds all around. And, friends, it did not rain. Even Mother Nature loves these two.
Melissa and Traci were married at the lovely Annapolis Wedding Chapel last week in a beautiful and very intimate ceremony with just their besties. These two are mad in love, y’all.

The Annapolis Wedding Chapel is this really cute tiny building off a major road with a waiting room and a ceremony room. The ceremony room has some amazing vine sculpture pin-light action going on.
