Allison and Mark rock so much. They’re super-happy-cuddly-giggly, which is hands-down my favorite quality in a couple. And Allison wore this amazing 50s polka-dot dress. And they were going to someplace called Spice Xing for lunch and they kept calling it “ex-ing”. And they’re librarians and arranged for us to do indoor portraits at a nearby library and it was an awesome library. And Mark has a Star Wars checkbook. And and and. Allison and Mark:

After the unbelievably brief ceremony, we hustled outside in the super-frigid air to do some quick family photos outside. About five minutes of that, and we were practically running for the library.

And that was fine, because it was an awesome library.

Finally, I can’t post this shot without giving credit to Roberto Valenzuela. I saw him speak at a wedding photography conference a couple weeks ago and he had an image with the same concept. It was sort of a mistake when it happened, but I just went with it, and liked it better than what I had in mind anyway.

Congratulations Allison & Mark! Keep the good times rolling.

Your black and white shots are killer. Love the contrast and composition in your pics. Her polka dot dress and birdcage veil rock!
